Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committee

1. Decision on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take items 3, 4, 5 and 6 in private. 2. Instruments subject to negative procedure: The Committee will consider the following— Coronavirus (Recovery and Reform) (Scotland) Act 2022 (Saving Provisions) Regulations 2025 (SSI 2025/101) 3. Care Reform (Scotland) Bill : The Committee will consider the delegated powers in this Bill after Stage 2. 4. Dog Theft (Scotland) Bill: The Committee will consider the response from the Member-in-charge to points raised on the delegated powers in this Bill at Stage 1. 5. Border Security, Asylum and Immigration Bill (UK Parliament legislation): The Committee will consider the powers to make subordinate legislation within devolved competence conferred on UK Ministers in the Bill. 6. Work programme: The Committee will consider scrutiny of subordinate legislation made under Acts resulting from Scottish Law Commission Bills.
